last week we went to asheville, n.c. to pick up joshua. we came home through chattanooga, tenn. and stopped off at some of the tourist traps (avoid the restaurant at rock city!). keny had nver seen the mountains before and i was really glad he got the opportunity. here are some of the pics from our short but fun trip.

Good old Asheville...my former stomping ground. I spent 4 incredibly productive years wandering around those mountains and climbing those trees. It brings back fond memories to see the family tradition continues.
I also remember many a trip through Chattanooga and Lookout Mountain. For years I was haunted with nightmares about the gnomes in Rock City. Are they still there, or has someone finally performed an exorcism on the place?
